ta-da!

hello,

SHelley and I are chillin' at a coffee shop so I thought I'd fire out a quick update about what we're up to.

Lately I've been helping a friend of mine do some remodeling on his new house. I've been a remodeling machine! Remodel all day then remodel a few evenings a week and then remodel over the weekend! Whoo! Helping with his new house (he and his wife's first house) really is giving me the fever to buy our own house. For a while there I was really intent on starting to look at houses this summer. I'm so sick of our cramped living arrangement. Since I've changed jobs I've amassed more and more tools, so I'm running out of space in my truck to keep them secure and weather proofed. Lugging them up 3 stories to the apartment is out of the question. So, I'm probably going to have to buy a small trailer in the fall. Blah. I need a garage. Anyway, I got over my house purchasing craze after really looking at the pros and cons of buying right now. THe cons far outway the pros. We'll be a much more attractive potential buyer once Shelley is out of school and has a full time job. But I can't help noticing For Sale signs in the neighborhoods that Shelley and I want to live in. AH! It's driving me crazy.

Anyway, Shelley is getting ready to end her internship and head back to school in a couple weeks. It's going to be a pretty intense semester. She's taking a lot credits. Also the new GA's are moving into the office so it'll be interesting to see what they're like. But she'll probably put up a blog about that. I really don't know much about it to be honest. So hold your collective breathe!
